Blending Spirituality with Service: How Shilavati Foundation Supported Pilgrims with Free Medicine and Check-Ups

At Shilavati Foundation, we believe that true service lies in recognizing the unspoken needs of communities and addressing them with empathy. In June 2022, we had the honor of doing just that during the Sant Tukaram Maharaj Palanquin Yatra.

With hundreds of Varakari's journeying by foot through Maharashtra, our team reached Majalgaon in Bid district to support 150 of these devotees with free health check-ups and essential medicines. The effort, led by our Founder President Mrs. Ashwini Manojkumar Mane, was a heartfelt tribute to both spiritual devotion and community care.

For many Warakas, this assistance was not just a relief—it was a gesture of humanity during a physically challenging pilgrimage. Events like these remind us that service has no boundaries, and when spirituality and social good align, the impact is deeply transformative.
